GYFS Family Support and Enrichment programs are being developed to help strengthen the core family units.  At GYFS, we realize that the word family means different things to different people.  However, we know that Families are the basic, foundational social units in all human communities around the world.  Research has shown that healthy individuals within healthy families are key to a healthy society. It’s in everyone’s best interest, then, to help create a positive environment for all families.

 

At GYFS we believe that Families are close to God’s heart. In fact, they were His idea in the first place. From the beginning, when God created man, He said, “It is not good for man to be alone,” so He created woman as a “help-meet, suitable for him.”  For this union, the first family was created.
